i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> necessary to remove the motor vehicle or aircraft from the Airport. <br /> S.2 Use of Airfield Area. <br /> 5.2.1 Motor Vehicles/Pedestrians. <br /> 5.2.1.1. No unauthorized motor vehicles shall be operated in the airfield area. <br /> 5.2.1.2. Vehicles or pedestrians operating in the movement area or its <br /> ~ ~ adjoining area shall receive approval from the Control Tower and have an operating <br /> radio with appropriate air to ground frequencies (ground controUlocal control) or be <br /> escorted by Airport personnel. All persons in the movement area shall be conversant <br /> with and follow light signals from the Control Tower. All vehicles, aircraft, <br /> <br /> I ' equipment or personnel in the movement area shall follow the procedures set out in <br /> the current letter of agreement between the City of Eugene, Eugene Air Traffic <br /> Control Tower, and Eugene Airway Facilities. <br /> I' S .2.1.3. V ehicles operating in the movement area shall have a flashing yellow <br /> light or appropriate signal flags displayed at all times. <br /> 5.2.1.4. Vehicles operating in the airfield area shall operate at a reasonable <br /> speed, and shall not exceed 15 MPH except when performing a runway inspection. <br /> 5.2.1.5. Unless permission is obtained from the Control Tower, agriculture <br /> <br /> I <br /> p equipment shall not operate closer than 175 feet from the edge of any runway or 75 <br /> j feet from the edge of any taxiway, or in any area where such operations would be <br /> inconsistent with the requirements of FAR Part 77. <br /> ~ 5.2.2 Exhaust Protection. No person shall operate a motor vehicle or any engine <br /> in any hangar or on any ramp or apron without exhaust screens or baffles to prevent the <br /> <br /> j escape of sparks or flame. <br /> 5.2.3 Limitation of Entrv to Airfield ArealSecurit .Lessees shall keep all doors <br /> and gates providing access to any part of the airfield closed and locked at all times, except <br /> when in use. Spectators will not be permitted on any of the aprons or ramps without Airport <br /> <br /> ~ Manager approval. All operators shall conform to FAR Parts 107 and 108 and with <br /> applicable portions of the Eugene Airport Security Program. Lessees are responsible for the <br /> security of their leased areas and for access through their leased doors and gates. <br /> 5.2.4 Parking of Motor Vehicles at Apron. No motor vehicle shall be parked at an <br /> apron within ten (10) feet from any fire hydrant. <br /> i <br /> 5.3 Operation of Aircraft. <br /> 5.3.1 Careless Negligent or Reckless Operation of Aircraft. No aircraft shall be <br /> operated on the surface of any part of the Airport: in a careless or negligent manner; while <br /> <br /> Ii <br /> <br /> ~ ~ the person controlling the operation of the aircraft is under the influence of intoxicating <br /> <br /> ~ liquor, or any drug affecting the senses; or, if the aircraft is constructed, equipped or loaded <br /> <br /> j in a manner which endangers or may endanger persons or property. <br /> 5.3.2 Compliance with Official Orders Sianals and Directions. The person in <br /> control of any aircraft must comply with any order, signal or direction of the Control Tower <br /> 1 or the Airport Manager, and applicable lights, signs, signals and pavement markings. <br /> 5.3.3 Two-Way Radio Required on Aircraft.
