<br /> R-7.085/SIr Design Standards Parameters and Materials. <br /> 1. Foundations shall meet AASHTO 90-mph wind load with 1.3 gust factors. <br /> 2. Unless otherwise approved as pazt of a land use permit, luminaires shall be at the IES <br /> recommended cutoff. <br /> 3. Average maintained illumination levels and average-to-minimum uniformity ratio shall <br /> be as reco ded by IES, or as required by City staff. <br /> 4. Design parameters shall comply with the requirements of the current edition of the <br /> City's Stan Specifications and Drawings Manual for construction as adopted and amended by <br /> City Engineer orandum. <br /> 5. The scales to be used are 1 "=20', 30', 40', or 50', and architectural scales will not be <br /> accepted. <br /> 6. Plans shall show right-of--way lines, street center lines, lot lines, cross streets enclosing <br /> the azea; curb 1 es, dimensions showing conduit location from curb line, dimensions showing location <br /> ofcurb fromri ht-of--way lines, pavement edges, driveways, existing lights, proposed lights, proposed <br /> service cabin s, proposed service points, wiring and conduit, EVV~B box/vault numbers}, legends, <br /> and all other ork and material to be installed to provide a fully functional lighting installation. <br /> 7. Plan sheets shall include the following standard comments: <br /> 7.1 Construction shall conform to the current edition of the City's Standard ` <br /> Speci cations and Drawings Manual for construction as adopted and amended by City <br /> Engirt er memorandum. <br /> 7.2 The Electrical Contractor shall sign and obtain an Electrical Permit from the <br /> Permi and Information Center prior to beginning any electrical work. <br /> 7.3 The Contractor shall not perform work without inspections. The Contractor <br /> shall otify Public Works Engineering, 541-682-5560, at least 48 hours prior to work done. <br /> Any terials or equipment installed without inspection and approval shall be cause for <br /> reject on and removal. <br /> 7.4 The Contractor shall call Bw7ding & Permit Services, 541-682-5282 for <br /> inspe ion of service equipment and associated branch circuits, including cabinets, <br /> under ound raceways (conduit systems) going to the controller and bonding for cabinets <br /> befor covering any work. <br /> 7.5 The owner/applicant is responsible for completing all work within the time <br /> limits defined by the permit. <br /> Administrati a Order - 5 <br /> C:\TEMI'\03stligh .wpd(07/30/03) <br /> <br />
