A Development Plan <br /> $ased oa the self-assessment, you'll create a developmental learning plan for the <br /> coming year, with specific learning goals. <br /> <br /> ' An Action Learning Project <br /> . Part of the Development Plan is an Action Learning Project: awork-related <br /> project that you carry out during the year. You~l determine your project based on <br /> your learning goals; it maybe focused on your own Bureau, or it maybe inter- <br /> Bureau. - <br /> Cohorts <br /> The 20 Institute participants will be sub-divided into 4 "cohorts"--groups of 5 <br /> artici ants who meet informall at <br /> P P y various times~throughout the year to provide <br /> =coaching, challenge and support for each other. Each cohort will determine the <br /> specific number and length of the cohort meetings. <br /> r•• Leadership Conference <br /> This is a 3-day, off-site, residential conference which, through a variety of <br /> learning methodologies, provides opportunity to increase leadership capacity, <br /> focusing on the four attributes listed above. <br /> Quarterly Seminars <br /> These are one-day seminars that build on the work initiated by the development <br /> plans and action learning projects, and provide opportunity to continue fine- <br /> tuning the leadership attributes. <br /> ~ The Center for Creative Leadership Handbook of Leadership Development. <br /> C.D.
