We will work closely <br /> with Diamond and Amtrak to assure smooth transitions. <br /> 3 We discussed the ground-breaking ceremony. The contractor is not yet under contract and the exact start <br /> date isn't known. The attendees schedules would be the likely determinant of the event. A possible time for <br /> this would seem to be before or after the Eugene Celebration depending on attendees schedules. Eric Jones <br /> said he would schedule and plan this event. <br /> 4 Chris Henry reported that ODOT said remaining work could be included in project as currently defined. We <br /> are planning for the bunkhouse rehab, site perimeter improvements & drainage, and passenger amenities just <br /> west of depot building. <br /> 5 Final touches on IGA still in progress due to Amtrak continuing review. (since signed) <br /> 6 Emmy, Glen and Ron Sutton working on Amtrak lease, as well as memo of agreement for interim, if needed. <br /> 7 Schedule: ODOT contract signing (52 days) 8/17 <br /> ODOT Notice to Proceed (Sdays) 8/22 <br /> 8 Property acquisition completed.
