Russ is familiar with contractor and most subs. <br /> 2 Russ budgeting for "CE" and construction funding with ODOT. <br /> 3 Eric raised concerns about the project sign and to make sure parking is well-transitioned. <br /> 4 We discussed the idea of aground-breaking ceremony. The contractor is not yet under contract and the exact <br /> start date isn't known. The attendees schedules would be the likely determinant of the event. A possible <br /> time for this would seem to be before or after the Eugene Celebration depending on attendees schedules. <br /> 5 Since acquisition required less funds than budgeted, we are planning for the bunkhouse rehab, site perimeter <br /> improvements & drainage, and passenger amenities just west of depot building. <br /> 6 Chris Henry to work with ODOT as needed to assure funding is lined up as possible for this program of <br /> work. <br /> 7 Final touches on IGA still in progress due to Amtrak continuing review. <br /> 8 Emmy, Glen and Ron Sutton working on Amtrak lease, as well as memo of agreement for interim, if needed. <br /> 9 Schedule: ODOT contract signing (52 days) 8/17 <br /> ODOT Notice to Proceed (Sdays) 8/22 <br /> 10 Property acquisition completed.
