(REI) team up <br /> ~ to restore Spe cer Butte's trail system as part of National Trails Day. <br /> As m y as 175 volunteers are expected to participate in the effort to restore the popular <br /> i <br /> hiking trail o South Willamette Street. Most volunteers are encouraged to gather at Ida <br /> Patterson Sch ol, 1510 West 15``' Avenue, at 8 a.m. and shuttle to the butte on LTD buses. <br /> Volunteers an hikers who go directly to Spencer Butte Park between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. will find <br /> parking limite or unavailable.
