The initial phase of <br /> Construction wil last two months and will include lane closures and traffic delays. Wildish <br /> construction is he general contractor for the $950,000 project, which will be paid for primarily <br /> ~hrough funds r eived from the state gas tax and local transportation systems development charges. <br /> The prof ct includes grinding off the top layer of paving and applying a new, 2-inch-thick <br /> gayer of asphalt he full width of the roadway. Deteriorated storm drainage lines will be replaced, <br /> d repairs will e made to sidewalks, curbs, and other concrete structures. When the Oakway- <br /> -Cal Young se ment of Coburg Road is completed, the full length of Coburg Road in Eugene <br /> ill have been p eserved before more costly and disruptive road reconstruction is required on <br /> ne of the city's usiest arterials.
