News Releas -Road Work on Coburg Road Begins Monday <br /> June 25, 199 <br /> <br /> ' Page 2 <br /> In ad ition to the preservation work, a number of transportation improvements are <br /> <br /> ~ included in t Coburg Road contract. The traffic signals on Coburg Road at Tandy Turn, <br /> Harlow Road and Oakmont will be upgraded, a dedicated turn lane will be built for traffic <br /> turning right rom westbound Harlow Road onto northbound Coburg Road, the corner of <br /> northbound C burg and Harlow will be reconfigured to improve safety for cyclists and <br /> pedestrians, a d a median will be installed to make it easier for pedestrians to cross Coburg Road <br /> between the akway Center and the hotels on the east side of the street. <br /> <br /> ~ The b lk of the work on the Coburg Road project is scheduled to be completed by mid- <br /> August. Traf c control is being coordinated with the Ferry Street Bridge project, and the Coburg <br /> Road contract calls for travel lanes to be kept open during peak commute hours.
