It's also time for a seasonal reminder from the Eugene Public Works <br /> Department not to pile leaves in the street until the weekend before collection in your neighborhood. <br /> I <br /> Even properly piled leaves can cause local flooding and pollute waterways if placed in the street <br /> prematurely. <br /> ~ This year's leaf collection program in Eugene's begins November 2 and continues until early <br /> ~ January.
