The paving
d rotomilling work is expected to take approximately 30 days to complete, although installing
t ffic detectors and striping lanes may cause delays through November 20. The
u e of alternate routes is recommended.
Eugene Sand & Gravel was awarded the contract for the $460,000 City of Eugene paving
p oject. The Eugene Public Works Department selected this section of Coburg Road as a road
f~nd preservation project because of the high volume of traffic it carries and the opportunity to
c~rrect surface deterioration problems before major reconstruction was required.
For up-to-date information about local road construction projects, call the Cit of Eu ene
Y g
traffic relief hotline at 984-8484, or visit the City of Eugene home page, www.ci.eugene.or.us.

Public Works • Administra#ion • City of Eugene • 858 Pearl • Eugene, OR 97401-2727 • Phone: (541) 682-5262 • FAX (541) 682-6826
