Come visit the new ramp and viewing platform at this beautiful site in <br /> I' the heart of Eugene and meet some of the people that work to preserve our natural areas. To <br /> ~j locate the celebration event, look for the gate, 1\4 mile North of Valley River Center on the East <br /> side of Good Pasture Island Road. Parking is available on Alexander Loop, on the West side of <br /> Good Pasture Island Road, just beyond Delta Ponds. <br /> To wrap up the evening, a slide show and lecture featuring birds of Delta Ponds will be <br /> presented at 7:30 by Dan Gleason in the Willamette Oaks Retirement Center, 455 Alexander <br /> Loop. <br /> The event is open to the general public and sponsored by the Eugene Stream Team, a <br /> City of Eugene Public Works program, bringing volunteers together to enhance local water <br /> quality and protect natural resources such as streams, ponds and wetlands.
