Two drop-in <br /> sessions will be offered: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and 4:30 to 7 p.m. <br /> The "Gr en Street" project is designed to enhance bicycling and walking on 15th Avenue <br /> between Jeffers nand Willamette streets, an important link in the route that connects the <br /> University of O egon and the Fern Ridge Bike Path. The project is funded by a $240,000 federal <br /> grant and $85,0 0 in City transportation funds, with construction scheduled for summer of 1997. <br /> <br /> . A 10-me ber project advisory committee made up of neighborhood residents has worked <br /> with City Publi Works staff during the past two months to prepare a plan that envisions new <br /> landscaping, tra is calming, and bicycle/pedestrian enhancements along the six-block stretch of <br /> ~ 5th Avenue.
