City <br /> Traffic Technic an Joe Hessler said the speed limit is being reduced from the previous 40 mph in <br /> response to citi en requests to increase traffic safety on both streets, which are experiencing <br /> increased cong tion as the area develops. Concerns are expressed most often about the area around <br /> Oakway Center the area between Bailey Lane and Willakenzie Road, and in the vicinity of Chad <br /> Drive. In additi n, the City's high-frequency accident list includes five intersections in the Coburg <br /> Road corridor: eventh Avenue at Mill Street, Centennial Boulevard, Oakway Road, Oakmont Way, <br /> <br /> ,and Beltline Hi hway. <br /> The ne 35 mph speed limit applies to Coburg Road from Seventh Avenue in downtown <br /> <br /> !,Eugene to Cresc nt Avenue and to Oakway Road from Coburg Road to Cal Young Road.
