The park development plan was prepared by the City's <br /> Public Work Department in response to suggestions from area residents. It includes a <br /> central play field and areas for a playground„ a basketball court, horseshoe pits, a skateboard <br /> bowl, BMX ike riding area, picnic tables, and benches. Drinking fountains, lighting, paved <br /> paths, and la dscaping also are included in the plan. Limited development could begin next <br /> i <br /> ~ summer. <br /> Copi of the plan are available at the Petersen Barn Center lobby and the Library, <br /> Recreation a d Cultural Services Department lobby, 22 West Seventh Avenue. The meeting <br /> ~ location is w eelchair accessible.
