Grasslands will be restored at Amazon Park where the dirt is being <br /> removed. A out 400 feet of Tugman Creek will be piped and sealed to isolate it from the <br /> landfill debri . The lower portion of the creek will be not be affected by the project. <br /> As pa t of the project, some debris present around the perimeter of the landfill site <br /> <br /> I <br /> will be cons idated at the toe of the landfill prior to placement of the cover material. <br /> After e cover has been constructed and compacted, the Tugman Park bicycle path <br /> will be resur aced, and native grasses and trees will be planted to help minimize future <br /> erosion. Th initial site control work, which has been reviewed and approved by the DEQ, <br /> is scheduled o be completed by November 1. After completion of the initial site controls, <br /> sampling wil be conducted to determine if any additional actions will be required to complete <br /> the project. <br /> <br /> i <br /> <br />
