Admission is $3 per person. <br /> i <br /> j Nori and Sandra Pope, a Canadian couple who previously owned a specialty nursery <br /> on Vancouver Island, have revived the walled garden and nursery of the Hadspen House in <br /> Somerset, England. In the 1970s, noted gardener Penelope Hobhouse began restoring the <br /> <br /> i <br /> garden, which was built in the early 1900s and belonged to her husband's grandmother. <br /> The Popes have built on Hobhouse's work and have introduced a wealth of plants, including <br /> old garden roses, choice herbaceous plants, and a perennial garden that moves from hot to <br /> cool colors. <br /> The lecture is sponsored by the Willamette Valley Hardy Plant Group, the city of <br /> Eugene's Hendricks Park, and Gossler Farms Nursery. <br /> # # ~ <br /> <br />
