Allsup and Bostick, who teamed up last <br />year to i stall sewers, turned in a bid Wednesday that was 27 percent below <br />the engin er's estimate of $1,784,276. Also bidding on the Basin D job were: <br />j Wildish; owler; and Pipe Tech. <br />Begi Wing this week, property owners in the three 1991 basins can get <br />updated a sessment estimates based on the apparent low bids. Estimates and <br />other inf rmation will be available at a drop-in session on Friday, April 26, <br />from 2 to 7 p.m. at the River Road Recreation Center, 1400 Lake Drive. <br />A pu lic hearing on the formation of a local improvement district that <br />includes he properties to be served by this year's sewer construction will <br />be held M nday, April 29, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Eugene City Council <br />Chamber, 77 Pearl St. A hearing official will conduct the hearing and pre- <br />pare a wr tten report scheduled to be considered by the Eugene City Council <br />on May 13 <br />Cons ruction is expected to begin in June and continue through October. <br />The 991 sewer construction is the second year of work in a seven-year <br />project t install sewers to approximately 8,500 properties in River Road and <br />Santa Cla a.
