• <br /> News Rele se Public Hearing on Emergency Snow Ordinance <br /> October 1 1990 <br /> Page 2 <br /> The ity has 18 miles of priority one streets, 102 miles of priority two <br /> streets, nd 39 miles of priority three streets. <br /> The city could also temporarily close any street to vehicular or <br /> pedestrian traffic during a snow emergency. <br /> ~ If a ehicle was stalled on any part of a route with a parking ban in <br /> ~ effect, a river would be required to have it pushed off the roadway or towed <br /> to the fir t location that was not a designated snow emergency route. <br /> Desig ated city staff would have the authority to remove or impound <br /> stalled ve icles or cars parked along snow emergency routes. <br /> If th ordinance is adopted, each October, the city would undertake a <br /> broad-base public information effort to remind the public about the <br /> ordinance.
