Public Works Maintenance <br /> Director Bo Hammitt said residents should pile their leaves in the street <br /> the weekend before their area is scheduled for pickup. Property owners will <br /> be responsi le for removing any leaves left on their streets after Jan. 4. <br /> Debris other than leaves, such as branches, rocks, metal, and lawn <br /> clippings, ill not be removed; and scattered leaves and leaves piled under <br /> ~ or very clo a to parked cars cannot be collected. <br /> Public Works divides the city into five areas, with each area scheduled <br /> for two col ections. The first leaf pickup will begin in the downtown core <br /> area, Oct. 4 through Nov. 2. Crews will make the second pickup Dec. 3 to <br /> ~ Dec. 7. <br /> The en ire North Eugene area, including the Silver Lane and Sterling <br /> Drive area are scheduled for pickup Nov. 5 through Nov. 9; crews will <br /> s return Dec. 10 through Dec. 14. <br /> Novem er 12 through Nov. 16, crews will collect in Central and West <br /> Eugene, be weep the Willamette River and 18th Avenue from Garfield Street to <br /> more <br /> <br />
