On Monday, November 9 the permanent long-term parking lot <br /> at Mahlon Sweet Airport will open to the public, and is the last major <br /> parking c ange planned during the two and one-half years of construction <br /> at the ai port. <br /> -~,--~~<~~~i <br /> For t e past four months, airport users req~-ri-+~g long-term parking have <br /> ' parked in a temporary 101= $ Greenhill Road A free <br /> shuttle s rvice has provided transportation for air passengers and their <br /> luggage f om the temporary lot to the airport terminal, while the permanent <br /> long-term parking lot was under construction. The temporary long-term <br /> parking lot will remain open for the next several weeks, with shuttle service. <br /> However, air travelers should follow directional signing to the permanent <br /> long-ter parking lot adjacent to the terminal, according to Kay Kronholm, <br /> project information coordinator. Short-term parking is not affected. <br /> Par ing rates will remain the same. Long-term parking is $1.25 for the <br /> li first ho r, plus an additional $.50 for each added hour, or portion of the <br /> hour. T e maximum daily rate is $4, and the maximum weekly rate is $20. <br /> Sho t-term rates are $.75 for the first half hour and $.75 for the <br /> second h if hour.
