Construction includes <br /> i <br /> a car was building, a covered walkway from the parking area to the terminal, <br /> atoll pl za building, site work, 1.8 miles of paved roads, 23 acres of <br /> landscapi g, 14.7 acres of parking lots, plus the irrigation system, lighting, <br /> and some ignage. <br /> Proj ct Manager Bob Staley, said that construction is expected to begin <br /> as soon a the contract is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration, <br /> which sho ld be by the end of next week. "Wildish will begin construction the <br /> day after we have the approval of the FAA," said Staley. <br /> On M rch 31, Eugene voters approved a general obligation bond of $5.83 <br /> million t finance about one-third of the $18.3 million airport expansion <br /> project. Paving and road construction will be completed by October 15, 1987, <br /> I <br /> with the emainder to be finished within 365 days of the contract award <br /> date.
