M <br /> <br /> i <br /> City of Eu ene <br /> Airport Co struction--2 <br /> Phase II entails construction of a new parking toll station, a covered <br /> walkway fr m the new parking area to the terminal, additional irrigation <br /> installati n and sod planting. Scheduled completion for Phase II is September <br /> 15. <br /> The t ird phase of landside construction includes installation of <br /> <br /> ~I permanent igns and final electrical and paving work. All landside <br /> constructi n is scheduled for completion by October 15, 1987 except for final <br /> landscapin which will be completed during the fall planting season. <br /> Expan ion of the airport terminal will begin this winter. The entire <br /> <br /> I <br /> $18.3 million expansion project will be completed in September 1989. <br /> A groundbreaking celebration is planned for Monday, June 15 at <br /> <br /> II 10 a.m. at the airport. The public is invited to attend. Because parking <br /> is limited, shuttle buses will be provided from downtown Eugene.
