The selection process will <br /> begin Thursday, July 16 and be completed in about three weeks, according to <br /> Christine ndersen, Public Works Director. <br /> Mention Hanns Hellesvig, a Eugene firm, has been the local architect <br /> I <br /> for the d sign phase of the project, working in conjunction with TRA in <br /> Seattle, hich has special expertise and experience in airport design. <br /> i <br /> "We now n ed to prepare construction documents for the expanded terminal," <br /> II Andersen aid. "We have not been able to agree on a fee and conditions for <br /> i <br /> services nd sign an agreement for this phase of the work with the local <br /> architect. The city is concerned over delays that may occur if we do not <br /> promptly ove ahead with construction documents. We are committed to <br /> completin the airport expansion project within budget and on schedule." <br /> Cons ruction of the expanded parking area, new road system, car rental <br /> facilitie and landscaping is now underway and will be completed in October. <br /> I <br /> I'I Expansion of the terminal is scheduled to begin in March and be completed in <br /> I <br /> fall 1989 <br /> "The project is currently progressing on time and within budget," <br /> Andersen aid.
