Deters will <br /> I <br /> assist st ff in refining organizational procedures and in increasing the <br /> ' effective ess of the division's communication with other city departments <br /> and with he general public. <br /> Acco ding to Larry Reed, building official, Deters is experienced <br /> in identi ying problem areas within organizations and in developing <br /> technique and systems to solve those problems. Deters uses a variety of <br /> j methods t accomplish her objectives, including analysis of the organization, <br /> goal setting, developing operational procedures and monitoring and follow <br /> I <br /> through o newly created or modified procedures. <br /> i <br /> ~ Deter has helped in the creation or reorganization of many small <br /> <br /> ~ businesse and non-profit agencies in the Eugene/Springfield area. Before <br /> <br /> I, <br /> joining t e Public Works department, Deters was director of marketing and <br /> 'i <br /> developme t for Total Access Elevator Co., Inc., taught courses and <br /> <br /> ~ counseled business representatives for the Business Assistance Center at <br /> Lane Comm nity College. <br /> END <br /> I <br /> <br />
