The lunch is ~7 and is open to the public. (Additional <br /> seating wi 1 be provided for those who may wish to attend without purchasing <br /> lunch.) <br /> Durin the noon presentation, a videotape will highlight some of the <br /> recent projects and remaining needs on State highways in the Eugene-Spring- <br /> field metr politan area. In Springfield, projects include a major upgrading <br /> of Main an South A Streets, (scheduled for 1988) and resurfacing of the <br /> I <br /> Eugene/Springfield Highway. <br /> In Eu ene, the West Eugene Parkway is a high priority. The first half <br /> r i of the Par way is funded for construction in 1990, and State funds are <br /> needed to omplete the second half of the Parkway, from Beltline to West <br /> 11th Avenu in the early 1990s. Other targeted projects include improve- <br /> ; <br /> ments to t e interchange at Beltline Highway and Delta, and widening of west <br /> Beltline, nd upgrading of Highway 99 North. <br /> A num er of projects outside the metropolitan area will also be discussed <br /> including afety imporvements at several locations on the McKenzie Highway <br /> i and passin lanes on Highway 126 between Florence and Eugene. <br /> At 1: 0 p.m. the Commission will return to Harris Hall to conclude <br /> their busi ess meeting.
