Thirteenth Avenue is now at <br /> a point wher reconstruction is the only alternative. <br /> Thirteen h Avenue was originally built in 1912. Except far a minor <br /> r~econstructio between Kincaid and Alder Streets in 1963 and for regularly <br /> scheduled mai tenance (pothole repair and overlays), 13th has had no major <br /> wprk since it as first built. It is one of the City's businest arterials, <br /> cArrying from ,000 to 12,000 vehicles a day between Willamette and Alder. <br /> Since thi is a preservation project, there is no cost to property owners <br /> for the work. <br /> l <br /> <br />
