Trenching will begin at 6 a.m. and will be completed by 5 p.m. <br /> Moving from east to west on Roosevelt across Highway 99, one lane of <br /> <br /> 4 traffic at time will be closed. The trench will be backfilled before the <br /> ';crew moves egins work in the next lane. Flaggers will direct traffic <br /> throughout t e day. <br /> The rec nstruction of Roosevelt is the final phase of a three-year <br /> ,project to p ovide an east/west arterial connecting Beltline Road and <br /> ';Highway 99. During the reconstruction, Wildish Corvallis Construction Co., <br /> contractor f r the project, will rebuild the existing roadbed, widen the <br /> street to include two travel lanes and two turn pockets, and install new <br /> traffic signs s at the intersections of Seneca and Roosevelt Boulevard. <br /> the $700,000 roject is paid for through state and federal dollars. <br /> Eventual y, the road will connect to the Chambers Connector at the east <br /> end of Roosev lt, providing a link with River Road/Santa Clara and central <br /> Eugene. <br /> <br />
