Harlow Road and the East Skinner Butte historic <br /> district eceived special mention during the scoping process and will be <br /> included in the EIS. The consultants will also analyze the traffic and <br /> ~ associate physical impacts on some areas outside the primary study area. <br /> In a dition to several possible bridge configurations, a double deck <br /> bridge wi h increased accommodation for bicycles and light rail was suggested <br /> by a numb r of citizens and will be included in the study. <br /> Hist ric preservation was identified as a concern by a number of <br /> citizens. As a result, the historic river ford, ferry sites, the first <br /> bridge si e, the Millrace and the East Skinner Butte historic district will <br /> be includ in the EIS. <br /> "Cit zens' comments have been extremely helpful in establishing the <br /> ~ study are s," said Dave Reinhard, project manager and Public Works <br /> transport tion engineer.
