Four crews will be working in <br /> <br /> i <br /> various s ctions of the city throughout the summer, with completion scheduled <br /> <br /> i <br /> for the e d of September. To avoid traffic delays, streets in the central <br /> business istrict will be scheduled for painting during off-peak hours and on <br /> Sundays. <br /> Bob oble, traffic operations supervisor for Public Works, urged <br /> motorists to watch for crews and to avoid crossing or driving on newly <br /> painted 1'nes. Depending on the weather, new paint can take from three to 10 <br /> minutest dry. If vehicles drive on the wet paint, the paint will smear on <br /> the road nd can also splash onto the cars, Noble said.
