Subsequently, in this same <br />area as indicated by the above stationing, embankment material is needed for the utility <br />companies to complete their utility relogtes. It is anticipated that EWER will construct a <br />portion of the embankment material between approximate Stations 22+80 and 26+75 in <br />order to relocate utilities. EWER will not consVuct embankment to final subgrade. The <br />Contractor shall compact and shape the embankment material placed by EWEB and <br />shall perform further embankment construction as needed in this area to achieve final <br />subgrade as shown in the plans. <br />03~ 30.01 LINES, GRADES AND CROSS SECTIONS <br />(ADD) Upon request, project cross sections are available at Public Works Engineering, 244 E. <br />Broadway, Eugene, Oregon and are for informational purposes only. These cross <br />sections represent the site as of the date of this addendum but do not reflect the <br />embankment work by EWER. <br />00440.40 GENERAL <br />(DELETE) From (e) Curing, the first sentence. <br />(ADD) To (e) Curing, "No Type 2White-Pigmented curing compound will be allowed.' <br />00445.40 GENERAL <br />(ADD) Centerline and grade control will be established by the City prior to the start of <br />construction. <br />00445.73 DEFLECTION TESTING FOR FLEXIBLE PIPE <br />(DELETE) Entire Section. <br />(ADD) Conduct deflection tests of sanitary and storm sewers constructed of flexible pipe. <br />Conduct the testing by pulling an approved mandrel through the completed pipeline. Use <br />a mandrel having at least 6 vanes and a diameter 95% of the pipe's initial inside <br />diameter. Conduct testing on amanhole-to-manhole basis after the line has been <br />completely flushed out with water. Conduct the tests after the trench backfill and <br />compaction have been completed. The tests shaft be conducted concurrently with <br />television inspection. The mandrel shall be pulled in front of the camera so that the <br />deflection testing is clearly recorded on the video tape unless approved by the Engineer. <br />A water depth gauge shall be provided, located on the TV camera side of the mandrel. <br />The gauge shall be graduated with marks at 0.50" increments clearly visible during TV <br />inspection.
