Lower Amazon Floodplain Analysis, Scope of Work Page 4 of S
Pacifrc Water Resources, Inc.
task. If the model cannot be executed within this budget then PWR will discuss

~r this with the City and determine a future course of action. Provide verification
via a-mail message to the City summarizing the results of this task.
6. Execute the SWMM model. PWR will execute the XP-SWMM model provided
by others. The purpose of this exercise will be to verify that the model provided
does in fact run and that the output generated matches that provided. The
estimated budget for this task does not anticipate manipulating this model except
as required to cause execution. If the model cannot be executed within this
budget then PWR will discuss this with the Ciry and determine a future course of
action. Provide verification via a-mail messag_
e to the City summarizing the
results of this task.
7. Attend a meeting with the Ciry. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the
results of Tasks 3-6 above. PWR will report on its progress with model
execution. The meeting will also be used to refine the project goals and discuss
the identified data gaps. Proposed activities and tasks for the next phases of work
will also be discussed and clarified. PWR will summarize the meeting discussion,
decisions reached and actions required.
8. Develop Task 2 scope of work. Based on the results of previous activities and the
meeting held under Activity 7, PWR will develop an outline of tasks (i.e.
activities), deliverables, budget and schedule for the next phase of work.
9. Prepaze a draft memo of findings. This findings memo will be in the form of a
statement of project understanding and work scope for the next phase of work.
This will be submitted electronically to the City for their review.
10. Prepaze a final memo. PWR will revise the draft memo based on comments
received from the City. The result of this task will be a well defined work scope,
budget and schedule for the next phase of work and will be submitted
electronically.
11. Prepaze exhibits. Working with the City, PWR will develop maps and graphics to
support this phase as well as the next phase (i.e. Task 2) of work. A portion of
this effort will be devoted to identifying available GIS data maintained by the
City and obtaining relevant covers to support this project. The other major aspect
of this activity will develop two maps identifying proposed modeling efforts for
the next major work task (outside this current work scope). The first map will
illustrate limits of proposed hydraulics modeling within the study area
(approximately Terry Street and SPRR to Greenhill Road). The second map will
identify subbasin azeas to be used in the hydrologic analysis, especially new azeas
not previously modeled. The budget for this task assumes time for PWR to
coordinate with the City for producing these maps. The Ciry will actually prepare
the final maps. This activity will also include prepazation of summary graphs and
tables comparing water surface profiles of work performed previously by URS
and the USAGE.
Deliverables:
• Minutes of one meeting with the USAGE (estimated 1-2 pages)
• Minutes of one meeting with FEMA (estimated 1-2 pages)
PACIFIC
WATER RESOURCES INC.
