All sections shall be cured by an approved method. Sections shall not be
shipped until the concrete has attained a compressive strength of 4,000 psi or
until 5 days after fabrication and/or repair, whichever is the longer.
2.02 HYDRAULIC DESIGN
The specified stormwater treatment system shall be hydraulically designed for
the specific site as a bypass system in which it will be installed. The calibration
of the specified system shall account for a peak flow rate of 1.3 cfs that
corresponds with predetermined, regional rainfall data to maintain peak removal
efficiencies and to not cause upstream flooding or pooling of storm waters.
2.03 MANUFACTURER
The structural stormwater treatment system shall, with letterhead, certified third
party independent testing, supply the appropriate (sediments, free oils and spill
control) range of minimal empirical data (see "example 1 ") and the protocol
description by which any and all removal efficiency claim (`s) are made. The Cit
of Eugene, Oregon reserves the right to reject any technology that fails to
physically substantiate any and all claims whether advertised or implied to the
satisfaction of basic testing variables, as in "example 1:"
example 1: Test data range:
proposed technology /system?
Cnlirlc rcmrnial VP_S I--I r1~ ^
Test ~Nominal ~ Introduction Sediment Test Sediment Sediment Sediment
Gradation Flowrate
# (microns) L/s) Input Duration Feed Recovered Trapped
Rate
Specific (gpm, (g) (min) (mg/L) (g) (%)
ravit L/s...
1 ini iirl hvrlrnrarhnn rPmwal VES ^ n0 ^
Test Oil type Introduction Influent Individual Influent Effluent oil Individual
~ Flowrate oil Test oil unit
# Supply Input @ Dosing Recovered Retention
MSDS constant Rate time
flowrate
Specific (gpm, (mg/L) (min) (mg/L) (mg/L) (min)
ravit L/s... not %°s not %'s not %'s
C:\Documents and Settings\cewaddc\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\OLKDB\FINALWATERQUALITY.doc PAGE 3
