The structural stormwater treatment system shall be constructed according to <br />the sizes shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. Install at <br />elevations and locations shown on the Drawings or as otherwise directed by <br />the Engineer. <br />B. Place the precast base units on a granular sub base with a minimum <br />thickness of six inches after compaction or of greater thickness and <br />compaction specified elsewhere. The granular sub-base shall be checked for <br />level prior to setting and the precast base sections of the stormwater <br />treatment system shall be checked for level at four quadrants after setting. If <br />the slope from the second structure to the first structure exceeds 0.25%, one <br />of the base sections shall be removed and the granular, excavation floor <br />material re-leveled. <br />C. All structural system components and system piping shall be made watertight <br />by the means mentioned previously in this document. <br />D. Where holes must be cut in the precast sections to accommodate pipes, do <br />all cutting, before setting the sections in place to prevent any subsequent <br />jarring which may loosen the mortar joints. The Contractor shall make all pipe <br />connections. <br />3.02 FIELD TESTING <br />All structural stormwater treatment systems incorporated in the storm drain line <br />shall be filled full of water up to the lowest pipe invert and tested for ex-filtration <br />and infiltration in high water tables conditions.
