PRODUCT: Project map showing in detail the project location including trail and special <br /> structure locations that tie into the Work Summaries (printed map) <br /> 9) Construction observation shall be carried out on a regular basis during the construction <br /> phase, determined generally to be at least three (3) site visits per week or as necessary <br /> based on actual project circumstances. <br /> PRODUCT: Construction observation notes summarizing noted construction conditions, <br /> progress, deficiencies and modifications shall be submitted to the City of Eugene Public <br /> Works Engineering representative within 24 hrs. of each site visit. <br /> Notes: <br /> <br /> A. The proposed trail improvements (construction and reconstruction) are prioritized and <br /> listed below, referenced to the Skinner Butte Trail Development Plan. Phase 1 of the trail <br /> improvements shall include all or a portion of the following priority list under a maximum <br /> funding for the development of $42,000. The projects under phase 1 shall include the <br /> obliteration of the trails that are within the project limits that were recommended in the <br /> Skinner Butte Trail Development Plan. <br /> • Route 1 <br /> • Route 2 (pt 7 - pt 11, pt 10 - pt 33, pt 11 - pt 34) <br /> • Route 5 <br /> • Route 7 <br /> • Route 7 (pt 29 - pt 5) <br /> B. The target date for delivery of items 1 through 8 shall be June 15, 2004. <br /> <br /> C. Items 4 through 8 includes the engineering portion of the trail construction contract <br /> required to enable the contractor to bid and construct the project. The provisional portion <br /> of the contract required in public works contracts will be inserted into the contract by the <br /> City of Eugene. The area and vicinity maps will also be the City of Eugene responsibility <br /> to insert them as pages 1 and 2 of the engineering drawings. <br /> <br /> D. The construction contract will be quoted, awarded, and administered by a representative <br /> of the City of Eugene Public Works Engineering. <br /> <br /> E. Directives to the construction contractor, as well as construction change orders and <br /> modifications will be executed by the City of Eugene Public Works Engineering <br /> representative (see note D below). <br /> <br /> F.
