Attend aPre-Bid Field Meeting. PWR will attend apre-bid field meeting to be arranged for and <br /> coordinated by the City. The purpose of this meeting is to explain the project particulars and answer bidder's <br /> questions. <br /> 2. Assist in the Preparation of Plan Addendums. PWR will assist the City in the preparation of up to two <br /> addendums related to the plans or technical specifications. Plan addendums may be needed to clarify the <br /> answers to various bidder questions that may arise. <br /> 3. Project Coordination. This activity will include project management and coordination for Task 4. Services <br /> include preparation of monthly progress reports and invoices. <br /> PWR Deliverables. <br /> • Answer questions of bidders <br /> • Prepare up to two addendums to bid document (if needed) <br /> PWR Attendance: <br /> • Pre-Bid Field Meeting <br /> City's Responsibilities: <br /> • Advertising & letting bid <br /> • Receiving bids /select <br /> • Award and/or negotiate contract <br /> Task 5- Construction Observations <br /> Objective: <br /> To provide the City with greater confidence that the project is constructed in general conformance to the plans <br /> and specifications. <br /> Activities: <br /> 1. Casua! Observations. The City will provide full time observation services. PWR will perform casual <br /> observations of construction activity to confirm that the work progresses in general conformance with the <br /> plans and specifications. These observations provide the City with higher confidence that the design intent is <br /> met by the completed improvements. A few site visits (7) are proposed at key points during the construction <br /> <br />
