CH2M H1LL will provide responses to Requests for Information during the <br /> bidding process, and will prepare up to one addendum if necessary to provide <br /> interpretation of the construction documents. <br /> • It is assumed that the City will be responsible for construction management for the <br /> project with the Consultant providing support at the request of the City. It is assumed <br /> that the City will provide inspection services during construction. The City of Eugene <br /> will provide construction staking survey and other services during construction. The <br /> consultant's responsibility during construction will include on-call assistance during <br /> construction on a time and materials basis, and preparation of as-built drawings from <br /> the City's inspector and contractor's redline edits. <br /> • City review schedules for plan and specification packages will be not more than one <br /> week. <br /> Task 4. Long-term Basin S#retegies Plan <br /> <br /> Task 4.1 Basin Management Strategies Plan - CH2M HILL will assist with the <br /> development of an outline (template) of a basin management strategies plan that can be <br /> <br /> used by the City to address long term surface water quality issues within the City's <br /> drainage basins (watersheds) such as the Polk St. basin. The outline will be developed <br /> during a strategic planning session with Consultant and City staff. The strategic plan should <br /> address technical (implementation of best management practices, monitoring, etc.), <br /> administrative, financial, policy, and stakeholder involvement considerations, as well as <br /> other factors necessary to establish appropriate authority and policy direction, establish <br /> measurable objectives, successfully allocate resources, and implement along-term plan to <br /> produce tangible improvements in stormwater quality and watershed health. <br /> Following completion of the design tasks CH2M HILL will work with the City to define this <br /> task. Under an amendment to this work order CH2M HILL will prepare a detailed scope or <br /> work for preparation of a basin management strategies outline/template for use on future <br /> stormwater or basin master plans. The current scope includes time for a brainstorming <br /> meeting with City staff to develop a framework for this task and preparation of the <br /> referenced outline which will be submitted to the City for review. <br /> Task 5. Project Meetings <br /> Task 5.1 Project Meetings - It is assumed that two to three CI-i2M HILL staff will attend up <br /> to five coordination meetings with the City of Eugene staff and/or other stakeholders to the <br /> project, throughout execution of Tasks 1 through 4. Project meetings may include a briefing <br /> of the initial project screening phase, review of alternatives for construction of a near-term <br /> project, design review meeting, construction services meeting(s), and long-term basin <br /> strategies planning meetings. <br /> It is assumed that the meetings will beheld in Eugene and will be two hours in length, plus <br /> travel time.
