6. Anew pump control panel will be developed using a new controller (U.S. Filter D-153). Develop <br /> Control panel outline dimension. Specifications will require the contractor to provide as-built <br /> layout, and interconnection wiring diagram with terminal numbers identified. <br /> 7. Develop Vault Power plan, site plan drawings. We understand that electronic files of existing vault <br /> layout plan is not available. Elcon will develop a plan to show the electrical equipment. Pipes will <br /> not be included in the layout. <br /> 8. Space inside the vault is limited. Current empty wall space on the East side will be used for new <br /> motor starters. Wall space currently used for existing control panel will be used for new control <br /> panel. Due to the limited wall space the motor starter may require a custom designed panel. <br /> 9. Following details will be developed -Pump disconnect panel with bolted cable connection and <br /> conduit. <br /> 10. Develop Division 16 specifications. The front end documents and other Divisions will be <br /> provided by City. <br /> 11. 60% and 90% review and coordination meetings will be conducted through telephone <br /> conference calls. <br /> 12. Development of Construction Cost is NOT required. <br /> C. Assistance During Construction <br /> Following services will be provided to the City during bidding and construction, if desired by the <br /> City. Our fee includes these items. However, the service items may be added or deleted at <br /> City's discretion. <br /> 1. Elcon will provide services to assist City with the assistance during bidding by providing <br /> clarifications related to electrical design work. <br /> 2. Elcon will provide clarification and respond to RFI's related to electrical design work. <br /> 3. Elcon will review the electrical shop drawings submitted by the Contractor. <br /> 4. Elcon will make one trip to site for construction observation, if requested by the City. <br /> 5. Contractor will be required to provide amarked-up copy of as-built electrical drawings. Elcon will <br /> review the drawings and will incorporate the changes marked up by the contractor. A hard copy <br /> and an electronic copy of the as-built drawings will be provided to City at the end. <br /> Assumptions: <br /> 1 Electronic copies of site plan, wet well plan and elevation will be developed by the City and <br /> provided to Elcon for use as background. <br /> 2 Elcon will develop Division 16 specifications. City will develop the front end specifications as <br /> required.
