Receive and approve pre-bid pump submittals.
? Prepare addendum listing approved pump suppliers.
? Prepare addenda items, as necessary, for City issuance.
Assumptions
? The City will provide all site topographic survey information, any previous design calculations,
hydraulic modeling, and additional information necessary to complete the design. It is assumed the
surveys will include all data available from public records and private utility locate services so that
the survey is a comprehensive document representing all known and located utilities. Our proposal
assumes the topographic survey will be provided in electronic format compatible with AutoCAD
2000.
? The City will provide all existing design work in AutoCAD 2000 electronic format either on disk or
via a-mail.
? The City will administer the existing contracts with other sub consultants.
? The City will reproduce and distribute the contract documents.
? We will coordinate with the following public utility providers who will design and construct public
utility services they deem necessary: power, telephone, telecommunications, cable television, water,
and natural gas. Our work will include obtaining utility concurrences from these public utility
providers.
Task 2: Construction Phase
We will provide civil engineering services during the construction phase as further detailed below.
During the construction phase we will administer the contract, provide periodic inspection, and
construction oversight. At project completion we will certify the construction as required by DEQ, and
prepare as-built drawings and a final O&M manual. The City will provide a resident inspector to observe
and document work progress. Our work will include construction observation for 4 hours per week for a
period of twenty-four weeks, for a total of 96 hours. Additional fees will be requested if additional
observation work is required.
Construction Period Services
? Coordination with owner and other design team members.
? Arrange for Contractor, City staff, and utility company representatives to attend pre-construction
meeting for public improvement work.
? Attend preconstruction meeting.
? Respond to contractor inquiries.
? Review submittals.
? Attend weekly construction meetings.
? Provide site observation visits and reports.
? Witness equipment start-up and determine compliance with contract documents.

Post-Construction Period Services
? Coordination with owner and other design team members.
?
