Chan a Order 12
JUSTIFICATION FOR CHANGE
2.. Reason(s) for the change(s) (Continue on reverse if necessary)
2400 - Slope exterior Concrete at Electrical Building Doors
This modification was made to assist in the drainage of storm water away from the building doors.
2410 -Telephone and EWEB vaults north of Taxiway Charlie
These two existing vaults will be in the safety area of the new Taxiway Charlie. This work was not identified on the original
plans. They are required to be aircraft rated as well as raised to match the new shoulder grades of Taxiway Charlie. The airport
looked at the relocated the vaults but it was too costly.
2420 -Replace electrical vault at A4 and Rwy 16R/34L
In order to collect the conduit from the primary runway and route it to the new electrical building, it is necessary to construct a
new vault in the location of an existing vault on Taxiway A4. The existing vault requires replacement because it is not large
enough to work in as well as to contain the additional conduit and wiring required to reconnect the primary runway to the new
electrical building. This new vault will be located at the western terminus of the east-west main electrical duct and is required to
accommodate additional wires from existing light and sign circuits.
2430 -Modify Upgrades to lighting control system
This item provides 4 flat screen monitors that will fit better on the existing table spaces. Provide a larger printer so that 11 "X 17"
sheets can be printed, and place the computer for the SRE building in a cleaner environment.
2440 -Lower fiber optics line around new apron
The fiber line was constructed at an elevation above the final grade of the new asphalt on the east general aviation ramp
(EGAR). The vault was constructed with a top elevation that is higher than the shoulder grades of the new EGAR. Both the
conduit containing the fiber optics line and the vault at the southeast comer of the EGAR required adjustment.
2450 - Duct crossing for the FAA
The FAA requested Wildish to construct this duct crossing.
2460 -Taxiway Papa duct crossing
The documentation used for design showed a crossing in the location of this new crossing, but field investigation and excavation
revealed that the crossing does not exist. Anew crossing was therefore required.
2470 Lighting at fiddlers green golf course
This work is needed to reduce the amount of glare to the approaching aircraft from the golf course driving range.
2480 - Remove additional trees at Fiddler's Green golf course
These additional fifteen trees were determined to penetrate the approach on Runway 16L and had to be removed.
2490 - Move fuel station 170-feet to the north
It was determined after the SRE two building was designed and placed in its final location that there was a better location for the
fuel tank to be positioned. The new location will provide better access for dispensing of diesel fuel for the airport's snow

removal equipment. This fuel tank will provide fuel for both the new generator and the snow removal equipment.
5
