City of Eugene PWE February 9, 2006 <br /> Larane Channel LOMR Revised February 24 2006 <br /> Record Documents <br /> • The City will provide all record documents (as-builts) and a copy of any drainage <br /> studies prepared for the channel relocation project. <br /> • The City will provide any existing modeling data collected or prepared by other <br /> consultants as part of any drainage basin modeling effort. <br /> Meeting Attendance <br /> • Meeting attendance is stipulated herein. Additional meeting attendance including, but <br /> not limited to, public hearings and neighborhood meetings is excluded from our scope <br /> of work. <br /> Scope Limitations <br /> • We assume the City will provide any required signatures or concurrence on Form MT-2 <br /> outside the engineer's certification. If any signatures are required by adjacent property <br /> owners, the City will obtain these signatures. <br /> • Our scope of work does not include any redesign of the relocated channel if hydraulic <br /> calculations show inadequate design based on existing conditions. <br /> Documentation <br /> • One final completed copy of the MT-2 application submitted to FEMA will be provide to <br /> the City. <br /> Fees <br /> • All review fees associated with the MT-2 application packet will be paid by the City <br /> directly. <br /> <br /> ~ F. Scope of Services <br /> 1. Survey <br /> a. Access <br /> 1) It is assumed that the drainage channel lies within a drainage easement and <br /> that access by our survey field crew is allowed and permission to enter, if <br /> required, will be obtained by the City on behalf of BHE. <br /> b. Limits <br /> 1) The topographic survey will be limited to the boundary of the channel relo- <br /> cated within the Larane Subdivision. <br /> c. Control <br /> 1) Horizontal control will be established using existing subdivision monumen- <br /> tation. <br /> 2) Vertical control (elevations) will be based on City of Eugene datum (NGVD 29). <br /> d. Cross Sections <br /> 1) Cross sections of the relocated channel will be taken at approximately 50-foot <br /> intervals. <br /> 2) Grade breaks (top of bank, toe of slope) will be included at each cross section. <br /> e. Structures <br /> 1) Flowline elevations and pipe/structure size will be collected upstream and <br /> downstream of any drainage structures. <br /> f.
