<br /> First Friday Art Walk: "Lookin'Forward at Downtown"
<br /> The public is invited to review and comment on plans for the future of downtown Eugene at a public information session
<br /> on December 5. The drop-in review session will be in the Parcade at 790 Willamette from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., coinciding
<br /> with the First Friday Artwalk. The session will include displays about the Downtown Plan, the Riverfront and Downtown
<br /> Urban Renewal Districts, and the Central Area Transportation Study (CATS).
<br /> 41, Comments received at the session will be added to the record and forwarded to City Council for scheduled public
<br /> hearings on January 26, 2004. On January 26, the Council will hold separate hearings for the Downtown Plan, the
<br /> Riverfront Urban Renewal Plan Update and the Central Area Transportation Study. Together, these three documents will
<br /> shape the future of downtown Eugene for the next twenty years. City Council action is scheduled for February 9. The
<br /> Eugene Planning Commission will also review the plans on December 8. For more information, please contact Richie

<br /> Many hands have helped give Trainsong Park a complete facelift. Over the r�r _'• .�

<br /> have come together to recreate the neighborhood park in the Bethel area. 'S y,'(�i1 ; 'N;';�?�k''' _,,i.:.-. ,., {
<br /> Thanks to this partnership and the spirit of community service, the park now ti'4�; . - , '• - , r .1. `

<br /> the United Way-sponsored Day of Caring in which dozens of volunteers Red Cross volunteers dedicated Trainsong
<br /> from participating Eugene businesses and parks staff spent the day building Bridge in fall 2002.
