The meeting, which will take place at <br /> Washington Elementary School Cafeteria at 3515 Harlow Road in Eugene on Thursday, <br /> October 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., is the first in a series of public workshops to discuss <br /> improvements to the park. Construction is anticipated to start in 2005. <br /> Improvements will be funded in part by the parks and open space bond measure voters <br /> approved in 1998.
