The training will focus on the Willamette River, Delta Ponds and the <br /> upcoming restoration project that will connect the two systems. Participants will learn about the <br /> wildlife in these natural areas and ultimately share their knowledge by giving instructional tours <br /> to school-age children during the academic year. <br /> The training will be held outside and involve walking along the new section of bike path <br /> that stretches from the river through the ponds. Sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing are <br /> recommended. Refreshments and materials will be provided.
