Slide areas were noted at the following locations: on the <br /> left bank of the channel downstream of Chambers Street bridge <br /> (approx. 20 feet in length) ; on the left bank of the channel <br /> downstream of Richardson Street (approx. 50 feet in length) ; on the <br /> right bank of the channel immediately downstream of Bailey Hill <br /> Road (approx. 100 feet in length) ; on the right bank of the channel <br /> near 11th and Sam R Road (approx. 50 feet in length) ; and on the <br /> left bank of the channel immediately downstream of Bertelsen Road <br /> (approx. 50 feet in length) . Some of the slide areas are scheduled <br /> to be repaired as part of an overall bank repair project the City <br /> is planning this fall. The others will be repaired by City <br /> personnel. <br /> a. Encroachments on the right-of-way were noted at the <br /> following locations: scrap steel is stored along sections of the <br /> shoulder (right bank) upstream of Oak Patch Street; a fence is <br /> located along the shoulder (right bank) at the county fairgrounds; <br /> and several mobile homes (left bank) are located near the shoulder <br /> of the channel immediately upstream of Danebo Road. Though these <br /> encroachments do not impact the integrity of the project, they will <br /> - limit access for construction equipment in these areas during <br /> maintenance operations and will restrict construction operations <br /> during times of flooding. <br /> 6. RESOLUTION OF PERMITS: None. <br /> 7. REQUIRED MAINTENANCE TO ENSURE PROJECT INTEGRITY: Listed in <br /> order of priority are the following maintenance items that should <br /> be corrected prior to the next inspection: <br /> LOCATION REQUIRED MAINTENANCE ESTIMATED QUANTITIES <br /> Various Repair channel slide approx. 270 LF <br /> areas <br /> Various Selective clearing of approx. .75 acres <br /> trees and brush in <br /> channel <br /> Various Remove sediment at approx. 100 cubic yds <br /> (5 sites) bridges <br /> (RB) between Remove berry vines 1. 5 acres <br /> Jefferson St. from channel side <br /> Bridged Polk slope <br /> St. <br />
