Your facilities ability to function as designed is <br /> determined to be acceptable. Therefore, your facilities are <br /> eligible for rehabilitation consideration should they be damaged <br /> significantly during a flood event. <br /> The level of flood emergency preparedness within your <br /> District was discussed during the inspection. Your <br /> organization's capability to operate during a flooding emergency <br /> appears acceptable. Access to your levee for emergency operations <br /> appears satisfactory. Your plan prepared in May 1993 appears <br /> quite satisfactory. <br /> To assist you in preparing for a flood emergency, we <br /> suggest you participate in a flood emergency exercise at your <br /> first opportunity. You can contact Ike Jensen by phone at 687- <br /> 4160 at the Lane County Emergency Management Office for <br /> additional information. We can assist by scheduling training to <br /> fit your needs, including flood fighting techniques with sand <br /> bags and information regarding Corps of Engineer Emergency <br /> authorities. Gene Shott indicated that sandbag training is <br /> desired in the near future. <br /> In January of this year, a Customer Satisfaction Survey was <br /> sent to your organization by the Portland District.
