The placement of a shelter at Shasta <br /> Complex will benefit the City of Eugene Athletic program in the following <br /> ways: <br /> *Provide participants shelter from sun and rain. <br /> *Enhance concession operation by providing picnic arca. <br /> *Serve as a tournament headquarters thus increasing desirability of <br /> renting the facility. <br /> *Improvement of the facility will assist in raising revenues. <br /> The ideal relocation site will be south of field 1. Dave Battaglia and I will meet <br /> public works staff at Shasta to establish exact location. Please give me a call <br /> when you're ready to proceed. <br /> Shasta Middle School Principal, Dr. Randy Harvey has been informed of the <br /> proposal and has given the O.K. to proceed. Randy told me that he would <br /> inform Tim Keeley, Assistant Superintendent for Bethel School District of our <br /> plans. <br /> Thank you for considering Shasta Softball Complex for this shelter. <br />
