MEMORANDUM <br /> Date: February 23, 1994 <br /> From: Bob Hammitt <br /> To: Chris Andersen and Linda Norris <br /> Subject: SHELTER UPDATE <br /> We are continuing to work with Recreation staff regarding possible options for <br /> relocating the West University Park shelter. We have also contacted <br /> Facilities staff to get estimates for the cost of removing and resetting the <br /> shelter. Rough estimates, depending on which location we take it to, are <br /> between $5,000 and $6,000 for a relocation. We are currently leaning towards <br /> moving the shelter to the Shasta ballfields. Recreation staff are feeling <br /> from input that they have had with program users that this would be the best <br /> location. Also being considered is relocating the shelter to the enclosed <br /> area inside the Amazon Pool . <br /> We are hoping to finalize the decision by the end of the week. I will let you <br /> know so that Kevin can be informed. <br />
