Thank you for your interest in improving the park. <br /> The use of the newly installed computerized control system will enable us to make optimum use <br /> of the existing system until such time as renovation is possible. Techniques such as"cycle and <br /> soak" and independent operations of specific zones are possible with the MAXICOM system. <br /> The use of such techniques as well as same day response to changes in the weather conditions <br /> will definitely result in improvements over the old controller's performance. <br /> Although the Laurel Hill irrigation system is one of the oldest in the park system it is still <br /> functional. Water service and pressure have been improved since its installation in 1969 and the <br /> original irrigation heads have been replaced with more modern heads. Still some dry spots will <br /> be present.
