When I went to investigate, I found a"Welcome to your park-leash your <br /> dog" sign by River Loop 1. <br /> Now I know 10 or 15 years have not gone by(as they told me it would be) before it <br /> would be used as a park. <br /> 3/10/03 <br /> I phoned John Clark and he returned my call. I thanked him for the speedy clean up but <br /> was curious about the park sign. We have people coming back here and we are <br /> unprotected from this"park." I asked if they couldn't put up a sign NO Dumping No <br /> Motor Vehicle. No he told me they have to sign all parks.... He said he can't remove the <br /> sign and I can't keep people out!! I explained that I'm not trying to keep them out just <br /> don't advertise come on in until it is developed as a park. I drove to other future park <br /> sites and some do not have signs. <br /> 3/30/03 <br /> Mowed weeds around the perimeter of the park they were already up to knee high. The <br /> field is full of dandelions. <br /> 4/9/03 <br /> Mowed between us and the park. The neighbors are not happy with allthe weeds. <br /> 4/11/03 <br /> John Clark called, he told me if I wasn't going to be happy living next door to a park, I <br /> should not have sold it to the city. I told him the only reason I sold it was the treat of <br /> condemnation or we NEVER WOULD HAVE SOLD IT. He said he was not aware of <br /> that and I think there is more to deal with here than I understand, so I will ask you to <br /> "NO LONGER CALL ME!" <br /> 4/27/03 <br /> Mowed between Park and neighbor up to River Loopl,the weeds were pretty long. <br /> 6/1/03 <br /> Mowed by back fence where I could and up to River Loop 1. <br /> July they mowed just before 4th of July(last year weeds were so high the people to the <br /> east caught the field on fire and we put it out)they did not mow in the trees and since <br /> they asked us not to call we will have to deal with chest high weeds and everything going <br /> to seed. They also let all the spruce trees die that they said they would pick up when <br /> things dried out a bit, that was months ago. They were already dug and ready to go. <br /> 5 <br />
