REVISED TWELVE POINT PROGRAM FOR <br /> LIGHTING, USE AND MAINTENANCE OF <br /> SHELDON BASEBALL DIAMOND <br /> 1. Scheduling the use of the Sheldon diamond during the summer months <br /> when school is not in session would be conducted through the City <br /> Park and Recreation Office. <br /> 2. Sheldon High School would schedule use of the diamond during the <br /> period of the regular school year and when the baseball season is <br /> involved. <br /> 3. The City of Eugene would maintain the baseball field including the <br /> lights. ,K •9 SEC <br /> 4. The School District would share in the maintenance and operation <br /> expenses to the extent that it was using the baseball diamond and <br /> lights for the athletic program or the district physical education <br /> program. <br /> 5. The City of Eugene would provide the lights for the field and <br /> Eugene Boys Athletic Association would arrange for the installa- <br /> tion with no cost to the district. These lights would become the <br /> property of the school district and the maintenance and operation <br /> of them would, however, be the responsibility of the City of Eugene <br /> as mentioned in number three. <br /> 6. Other improvements of the field such as additional tiling, installa- <br /> tion of dugouts, and outfield fence would be provided by parents <br /> groups, the various association involved, all of this being at no <br /> expense to the school district. <br /> : 7. Bleachers Bleachers adequate to District No. 4 use would be included in the <br /> (1C -`;- Sheldon High School budget request and installed by the school <br /> district when the budget items have been finally approved. <br /> 8. School District employees and appropriate representatives of the <br /> city government will confer and develop plans for the location of <br /> drainage, dugouts, fence, lights, bleachers, and any other installa- <br /> tipn ...needed due to the City-School District joint planning program. <br /> 9. Wrieveen <onfirmation of the wig-ingness of the City of Eugene to <br /> accept the responsibility for maintaining the diamond and maintain- <br /> ing and operating the lights of Sheldon field will be provided. <br />
